One of the standout features of Lifetap is its lightning-fast loading time, allowing you to jump into games without any delay. It supports games with up to 6 players, making it perfect for intense EDH/Commander or Three-Headed Giant matches.
In addition, Lifetap goes beyond just tracking life totals. It also supports Planechase and Archenemy game formats, adding an extra layer of excitement to your gameplay.
The player customization feature is a notable highlight. You can personalize your profile by selecting card art from Magic: The Gathering's extensive collection of over 20,000 cards. This level of customization enables you to create a unique gaming experience.
Lifetap offers a range of other helpful features. It tracks commander damage, infect counters, treasure tokens, experience counters, commander tax, monarchy, initiative, energy, day/night cycles, and city's blessing. This comprehensive tracking system ensures you have all the information you need during gameplay.
Resetting games to starting life totals is quick and easy with Lifetap. You can choose between 20, 25, 30, or 40 starting life totals. Additionally, the app provides the option to randomize seating arrangements for added variety.
A turn timer feature helps keep gameplay on track by monitoring how long each player takes. This includes an optional countdown timer in MTGO style and turn time alerts to ensure a fair and efficient gaming experience.
For added convenience, Lifetap includes a dice roller that can randomly select players or opponents and roll various types of dice. It also offers mana and storm counters to help players keep track of floating mana and storm counts.
Lifetap is compatible with tablets, providing a seamless experience across different devices. Furthermore, the app ensures crash protection by saving game state to memory. Therefore, unexpected crashes or phone reboots will not disrupt your game.
